Relax - Rejuvenate - Heal

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is wonderful for stress relief and calming a tense and fatigued body. This is a relaxing massage using various broad and general strokes which manipulate the body's soft tissues and is helpful in maintaining good health.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a great massage for pain relief and increased range of motion, as well as relaxation. This massage is very specific to areas and muscles that need extra attention using a technique that gently works deeper to loosen tightened and contracted muscles; and when needed, integrating Trigger Point Therapy to release painful tender points and trigger points.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapeutic art and science based on the premise that the entire body is mirrored in our feet and hands. Massage and pressure techniques are used to work the specific reflex points, which relate to all areas and organs of the body. Over time, the energy currents that naturally flow through the body can build up an accumulation of energy, or blockage, at various points. These "energy blocks" interrupt the smooth flow energy throughout the body, causing pain, disorder, disease or whatever problems that which may require healing. By working the reflex points in the feet, energy blocks can be removed, resulting in freely flowing energy currents, and returning the body to balance. energy blocks can be caused by many things, including stress, alcohol, caffeine, cigarettes, preservatives, and other toxins.
Reflexology benefits the body by alleviating stress and tension; improving circulation; promoting removal of toxins; boosting the immune system and increasing energy levels; breaking up blockages; relieving aches and pains; promoting healthy organ functions; promoting better sleep patterns; and contributing to well-being of the body, mind and spirit. Your reflexology session will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and gives most a general floating sensation.

Hot Stone Massage (Native American)

A Luxuriously therapeutic massage integrating Native American and Maori Indian techniques, using heated basalt stones to deeply penetrate muscle tissues for total tension release and deep relaxation. A choice of oriental gemstone facial massage using cold stones or stomach/digestive massage with hot stones is included. This massage is truly a muscle and tension melting treat!

Reiki

Reiki is considered "energy" work; a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation which also promotes healing. It means "universal life force energy". "Rei" meaning God's Wisdom or Higher Power and "ki" meaning Life Force Energy.
Reiki treats the whole person: including body, emotions, mind and spirit, bringing many beneficial effects including relaxation, feelings of peace, security and well-being. It has been included in many hospital programs as a relaxation technique to assist patients in relief from discomfort , nausea, headaches, as well as many other difficulties.
Reiki encourages a person to let go of all tension, anxiety, fear, or other negative feeling. At the end of a treatment, most feel more refreshed with a more positive balanced outlook.

Bowen Therapy

Bowen Therapy is very subtle, relaxing and gentle work involving the use of fingers or thumbs to move over a muscle, ligament, tendon and fascia on various parts of the body. This holistic approach treats the body as a whole, not a specific area, incorporating breaks between moves to allow the autonomic nervous system to process each move and establish the correct action. Many people respond to Bowen within 3-4 sessions, when even long-standing pain can be  relieved. Some have reported improvements after only one session. Everyone is different, so results vary from person to person.
